Associate Software Engineer

The role:

We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our fast-growing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is excited to work across modern cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data pipelines. You will contribute to the development of our core platform, including APIs, data services, and integrations, while learning best practices in scalability, security, and performance.

You will work closely with senior engineers and product managers, contributing to data ingestion pipelines, data transformations, and integrations with major advertising platforms. This is a hands-on role with room to grow into more specialized tracks.

What you’ll do:

• Write clean, well-documented code in Python, supporting data ingestion, transformation, and egress pipelines, as well as AI initiatives.
• Assist with deploying and monitoring applications and data pipelines on Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Athena).
• Support the development and iteration of internal tools (e.g., Postman collections, monitoring dashboards).
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot bugs, write tests, and contribute to automation pipelines (CI/CD).
• Collaborate with senior engineers on implementing security, authentication, and error handling best practices.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 2+ years of hands-on coding experience (professional or project-based).
• Familiarity with Python.
• Knowledge of APIs (REST, JSON, authentication tokens).
• Knowledge of database principles and SQL.
• Exposure to cloud environments (Google Cloud or AWS).
• Experience with version control (Git Hub) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Curiosity about identity, AdTech, and data-driven marketing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have (but not required):

• Experience with serverless platforms (Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda).
• Experience implementing various web security principles (OAuth, hashing, encryption).
• Exposure to adtech and audience targeting.
