Location: New Orleans
Mako Professionals is looking for an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Architect/Engineer to design, build, and implement integrations across Oracle Utilities Cloud applications and Oracle ERP Fusion. This contract role (3 months + extensions) is remote with occasional travel to New Orleans.
OverviewMako's utilities client requires an OIC Architect to ensure seamless connectivity between business systems such as Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS), Oracle Field Service (OFS), Customer Cloud Service (CCS), and ERP Fusion, enabling efficient operations across the multi‑utility enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Design and architect OIC integrations across Oracle WACS, OFS, CCS, and ERP Fusion
- Build, configure, and deploy OIC solutions to support business and operational needs
- Collaborate with internal teams, business stakeholders, and third‑party partners to validate integration requirements and ensure proper data flow
- Provide technical leadership on OIC architecture, best practices, and integration standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring reliability and scalability of solutions
- Deliver technical documentation, including integration design specs, process flows, and system mappings
- Support testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live optimization of OIC integrations
- Strong hands‑on experience designing, building, and implementing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Proven track record integrating Oracle Utilities Cloud solutions (WACS, OFS, CCS) with Oracle ERP Fusion
- Deep understanding of OIC architecture, integration patterns, and middleware best practices
- Experience with REST APIs, web services, and related integration technologies
- Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration challenges
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work across business and technical teams
- Experience in the utilities or energy sector with Oracle Utilities Cloud solutions
- Oracle OIC certifications or related Oracle Cloud certifications
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and SaaS delivery models
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum-based project delivery
