The Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic Operations Associate to join our growing education services startup. This entry‑level position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, “whatever it takes” environment and wants to make a real impact supporting educators nationwide. You’ll serve as our front‑line support hero, helping teachers and school administrators while gaining valuable experience across multiple operational disciplines.

What You’ll Do

Help Desk Support (35 %)

  • Provide first‑line technical support via Zendesk ticketing system and live chat
  • Assist teachers and school administrators with software troubleshooting and technical questions
  • Handle daily support tickets
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate team members
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and resolutions

Administrative Support (35 %)

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records across multiple systems
  • Support project management activities and logistical tracking
  • Handle correspondence with internal teams and external partners
  • Complete tasks as assigned across IT, project management, and general operations
  • Assist with various operational initiatives as the company scales

Travel (30 %)

  • Travel is required
  • Support product deployment and setup
  • Assist with curriculum installation
  • Provide on‑site support as needed
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Advanced Spanish communication skills required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with standard office software suites (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to code‑switch communication style based on audience needs
  • High level of empathy when working with frustrated or confused users
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to problem‑solve on the fly
  • Comfort learning new software and processes quickly
  • Ability to travel
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk preferred)
  • Previous customer service or technical support experience
  • Basic IT troubleshooting knowledge

Our Team

You’ll be joining a core operations team of six dedicated professionals, with four team members based in your office location. You’ll work closely with two team leads who will provide guidance, training, and support as you develop your skills in this role.
