IT Technician II

We are looking for a technology-minded individual to join our client's growing team in Decorah, IA!

• Laptop and desktop computer troubleshooting and repair
• Server maintenance
• Network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Frequent, effective communication with clients, business owners and colleagues

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Business and Windows operating systems
• A thorough understanding of business network configurations (such as VLANs, firewall policies and DMZs)
• A thorough understanding of servers, including cloud servers
• A thorough understanding of cyber security practices
• Ability to use basic tools/do physical hardware installs
• Eagerness/willingness to learn and adapt
• Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills
• Able to communicate with all levels of customers
• Ability to work as a member of a team

• The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently.
• Due to the need for ongoing communication with clients, business owners and colleagues, strong verbal and written communication is essential.
• Candidate must also have a degree in computer science or related field, 2-3 years of related experience and a valid driver’s license.
• Use of your personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement will be required.
• Candidate must be able to regularly work in-person at our Decorah office (this is not a remote position).
• We are willing to train the right candidate or to adjust responsibilities for someone with more experience. Pay and some job responsibilities will be dependent on experience.

• PTO is based on time with the company.
