Job Description

Mid-Size Downtown AV Rated Law Firm seeking full-time lateral Associate Attorney with at least five years of experience in insurance defense matters including automobile, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. This role requires excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel, drafting documents, and representing clients in various legal matters.

• Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as Westlaw to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements across multiple practice areas.
• Assist in negotiations on behalf of clients in matters related to automobile, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and more.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings as needed.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures within the law office.
• Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about their cases and address any concerns.

• Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
• Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients’ interests.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also managing individual caseloads effectively.
