Wanek Kirsch LLC is a litigation law firm in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are hiring a full or part‑time Associate Attorney with a strong defense litigation background to join our team. Our firm is a rapidly expanding litigation firm with practice areas including medical malpractice, trucking and transportation, retail, construction, and general insurance defense. Preferred applicants have graduated in the top 1/3 of his/her law school class, excellent research and writing skills, strong work ethic and interest in growing with young and expanding law firm.

Under the supervision of Senior Supervising Attorneys, the associate oversees all aspects of litigation, including developing cases and legal theories, discovery, motion practice, trials, appeals, drafts briefs, motions, memos, and other documents in support of litigation and policy work, and communicates with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel and co‑counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.

Full‑time attorneys or those part‑time attorneys who work the requisite number of hours would be eligible for competitive benefits including health insurance, 401k (after one year of service), annual reviews for raises, bonuses based on quality of work and performance, among other benefits.
