Job Purpose

As the Business Process Improvement Lead within Wealth Management COO Office, you will champion process improvement & optimising the process workflow to ensure regional alignment of key initiatives to accelerate business growth with adequate controls in place for PB TPC segment. Leveraging deep expertise in Wealth Management, regulations, and internal policies, you will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver outcomes that uphold governance and operational excellence.

This role will be instrumental in managing changes, enhancing collaboration across various departments, and contributing to regional consistency in risk management.

Responsibilities
  • Works collaboratively across COO team and other functional teams to develop & apply a consistent framework and set of principles for process ownership, ensuring functional responsibilities are logically defined, well aligned across various disciplines and relevant. Champion and manage process improvement efforts acting as the primary owner for selected key cross functional processes.
  • Fosters cross‑functional collaboration, adopt a proactive and empowering change management strategy that enables the COO team to continuously enhance its value propositions, ensure processes are adequate, confidently uncover opportunities for transformational improvements, and achieve greater productivity and efficiency.
  • Takes a holistic approach in ensuring consistent integration of static data across systems, usage of harmonised data tables to identify & link clients, aggregate AUM, and improve AML/KYC risk management etc.
  • Oversees projects involving stakeholders from different business units to enhance data quality and resolve data gaps by having a clear understanding of data flow and details of static fields across systems. Coordinates & facilitates remediation with an accurate interpretation & understanding of laws and regulations relating to data usage.
  • Directs Project Steerco or updates as appropriate and delivers clear, strategic updates tailored for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Wealth Management industry with in depth understanding of the business, process and change management principles and methodologies. Familiarity with Private Banking operations is a plus.
  • Independent yet collaborative:
    Ability to drive projects independently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of project management and experience in managing senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to drive insights, solve complex problems, and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Positive attitude towards change, continuously seeking innovative and efficient ways to achieve objectives and challenge the status quo.
  • Strong interest in staying abreast of the latest emerging operational risks, agentic AI equivalent trends and competitive landscape to maintain relevance in a dynamic financial landscape.
  • Self‑driven individual capable of balancing creative thinking with pragmatic solutions.
