Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for a Structural Fitter to be an integral part of our Pipe Support team.

We can meet you at any skill level, whether you are just starting your career or have years of experience under your belt.

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Work in conjunction with other departments (Cutting operations and bay pulling) to ensure all relative materials are properly staged and ready for fabrication.
• Lay out, position, align and fit components together in various body positions. Bolt, clamp, and weld together metal components of products, such as piping systems, plate, pipe and tube or structural shapes.
• May clean or degrease weld joint or workplace, using wire brush, or portable grinder.
• Remove excess weld, defective weld material, slag and spatter, using handheld grinder or gas torch, hand scrapper, grinder, or power chipper.
• Preheat work piece, using hand torch.
• Cut metal plates or structural shapes.
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Load, transport, and unload material, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.

• Education:
