Assembler I

Join REV Group, Inc as an Assembler I. This role is based in the Ferrara/KME manufacturing facility and supports the design and production of fire apparatus and other specialty vehicles.

Ferrara/KME is a premier manufacturer of fire trucks and emergency response vehicles. The team works closely with municipal and industrial fire departments to diagnose needs and craft customized solutions. REV Group, the parent company, employs over 5,000 people and offers a broad range of specialty vehicles, including ambulances, fire trucks, terminal trucks, and recreational vehicles.

• Installing and mounting non‑electrical and electrical interior/exterior components and hardware
• Assembling fabricated parts, components, or other units at stations
• Reading blueprints and engineering specifications
• Ensuring safety requirements and manufacturing quality standards are met
• Cleaning and inspecting products for quality standards

• Preferred 1‑year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Preferred high school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
• Successful completion of required drug and background screening

• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing ladders
• Ability to operate and understand protective safety equipment
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to work in non‑temperature‑controlled environments
