Description
- Embrace Lean Manufacturing operating principles to achieve customer satisfaction and operating efficiency. Develop operating systems and methods that aim at the continual reduction of waste, inventory and defects.
- Ability to operate all required presses
- Set up and changeover of all required machines
- Operating various hand tools
- Monitor machines to ensure proper operation and perform routine maintenance and cleanup of machines as necessary
- Perform quality audit checks as required by standard work.
- Move finished product to aid in flow of production
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation by applying the principals of 5S
- Ability to work on all required machinery
- General knowledge of production methods and machinery
- Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs
- Able to stand continually for shift duration while working on certain machines
- Ability to work overtime when scheduled
- Ability to work safely to ensure the safety of yourself and those working around you
