This is a project‑based position. Operates the robot cutter.

• Set up and operate CNC, NC, lathes and semi‑automatic machinery.
• Study blueprints, layouts, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operation, and setup requirements.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Verify completed work with the tolerance limits stated in the specifications.
• Frequently lift materials up to 50 pounds.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
• Apply knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Rely on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Perform other duties and activities as required.
• Use manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Work under minimum supervision.
• Typically report to a supervisor.

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• May require previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
