Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, invites an experienced Expeditor to join our Technical Inspection Services team in Montz, LA. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to expand a versatile career in Inspection Services.

Montz, LA

Adhoc inspection frequency one day every two weeks; could increase to one day per week until January 2026.

• Ensure the Client receives the material ordered in the correct quantity and in accordance with delivery or earlier if possible.
• Check and report progress at the manufacturing location, verify schedules and ensure timely and correct completion of the order.
• Actively resolve any problems with the manufacturer, report actions taken and results.

• High School Diploma or GED, Trade School, On‑The‑Job Training or University Diploma.
• 5+ years of third‑party vendor inspection, expediting or auditing experience.
• Experience in quality control inspections and tests including NDT, mechanical testing, dimensional inspection, pressure testing and coating inspections.
• Technical training in quality, NDT, blueprint reading, industry standards, auditing, expediting, materials, welding, coatings, electrical components, instrumentation, pressure testing, well control, equipment operation and assembly.
• Experience with Mechanical/Pressure Vessels and lifting equipment.
• Basic knowledge of material properties.
• Clear understanding of procurement and fabrication processes, relevant codes and specifications for the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout the continental US.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record required.
• Proficient in MS Office programs and Outlook.

• Valid Industry Certification preferred (e.g., AWS CWI, API 510, 570, SI, Source Inspector, Electrical Journeyman License, NACE CIP 1, 2, 3, EMA Basic, Advanced, ASNT NDT Level II, III, ASQ or IRCA Certified Auditor).
