Industrial Piping Fabrication Technician Pay: $25/hour

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PMWhat a day looks like
By 7:00 AM, you’ve reviewed the day’s plan and are studying the latest drawings for a structural and piping assembly. You mark out the layout, line up components with precision, and reach for the right tool—maybe a bull pin or turnbuckle—to bring stubborn parts into perfect alignment. You double-check measurements, prep for welds, and make fine adjustments so every joint is square, true, and ready for final assembly.
Throughout the day, you move and position heavy pieces safely, maintain an organized work area, and support welding tasks to keep production moving.
Core responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan layouts and assembly sequences.
Lay out, position, and fit structural and piping components for accurate alignment and fit-up.
Work confidently with bull pins, turnbuckles, pry bars, hammers, L-lugs, steel wedges, grinders, and related fitting tools.
Verify dimensions and tolerances; confirm alignment and fit before weld-out.
Perform welding and assist with welding-related operations as needed.
Inspect fit-up and make corrective adjustments prior to welding or final assembly.
Safely handle, move, and position heavy materials and structural components.
Follow established safety procedures and keep the work area clean and orderly.
Support additional fitting, fabrication, and related tasks as assigned.
What you bring
Hands-on experience as a pipefitter, structural fitter, millwright, or boilermaker.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proven background in fit-up and structural assembly.
Welding experience.
Proficiency with common fitting and fabrication hand and power tools.
Mechanical aptitude with precise measuring, aligning, and fitting skills.
Ability to work safely with heavy materials and equipment.
High attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Comfort working in an industrial setting and performing physically demanding tasks.
