SummaryThe Director of Nursing leads, plans, organizes, and oversees all functions of the Nursing Services Department to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the planning, organization, development, and direction of all clinical operations.
- Support the development of comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans for each resident.
- Assist with creating and managing departmental budgets, including staffing, equipment, and supply needs.
- Respond decisively and effectively in urgent or emergency situations.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate nursing staff to achieve clinical excellence.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- BSN preferred.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in skilled nursing; leadership experience in hospital or other healthcare settings will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of restorative and rehabilitative nursing practices, clinical procedures, and long‑term care regulations.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and within the community.
