Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in an emergency room setting.
- Responsible for stabilizing critical patients, providing health education and counseling, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and referring patients to specialists.
- Must have strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to make quick and critical decisions in an emergency setting.
- Education:
Current Iowa licensure as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse required. Must have certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS. - Experience:
Clinical experience in Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care Unit
Employee must remain onsite during shifts.
Applicant must pass a background check, health assessment and drug screen before hiring.
