Insight Global is seeking multiple CRNA's to join a prominent health system in Louisiana. This health system is made up of over 200 anesthesiologists and CRNA's who provide extraordinary care at eight hospitals in Louisiana. The CRNA's administer anesthesia for all types of surgical cases in various settings in accordance with their expertise. Administers anesthesia in four general categories: pre‑anesthetic preparation and evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence, post‑anesthetic care, peri‑anesthetic and clinical support functions.

Your everyday responsibilities will include:

• Conducting pre‑anesthetic evaluation, induction, maintenance, emergence, and post‑anesthetic care.
• Selecting and administering anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, and fluids to maintain patient stability.
• Applying and interpreting invasive and non‑invasive monitoring.
• Managing airway and pulmonary function, including intubation, ventilation, and extubating.
• Overseeing post‑anesthesia recovery and addressing complications.
• Initiating or adjusting pain management strategies, including regional techniques and epidural analgesia.
• Responding to emergencies with airway management, life support, and fluid/drug administration.
• Providing clinical support in areas such as radiology, endoscopy, and emergency departments.
• Consulting on respiratory and ventilatory care and participating in resuscitation efforts.
• Performing additional anesthesia duties as authorized by policy.
• Teaching, supervising, and evaluating students; contributing to committees and research.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working as a CRNA.
• License or temporary permit to practice professional nursing and advanced practice nursing in Louisiana.
• Licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (RN/CRNA).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• Able to work onsite in Metairie, LA.
