. This assignment offers consistent 8-hour shifts, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to deliver essential emergency care in a patient-centered, community-based hospital.

• Location: Wellsboro, Pennsylvania
• Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Nurse Practitioner (Emergency Medicine)
• Start Date: December 31, 2025
• Duration: Long-Term (6+ months)
• Schedule: Day & Swing Shift Coverage

  12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Average of 20 shifts per month available

Hospital-Based Emergency Department
EMR: Proprietary Electronic “T” System Privileges: Temporary privileges available for clean files Credentialing: Expedited processing for active Pennsylvania license holders

• Hospital Beds: 83
• Emergency Department Beds: 16
• Annual ED Volume: 12,408 visits
• Patient Volume: ~1.5 patients/hour
• Trauma Level: Non-designated (stabilize & transfer model)
• Team Composition: Emergency Physicians + Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Code Response: EM team-led
• Scribe Coverage: None

• Certifications: NCCPA or NCCNP (Required)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care required
• Licensure: Active & unrestricted Pennsylvania NP license and DEA

• Skills: Strong clinical decision-making, ability to manage low- to mid-acuity ED cases independently
