Assist physicians in the Inpatient service with End Stage Kidney Disease. See patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in outpatient clinic and hospital follow‑ups. Provide education to CKD and pre‑dialysis patients in the outpatient setting. Observe patients in the outpatient hemodialysis unit. Participate in clinical trials. Must be people oriented, work with diverse patient populations, and willing to learn. Expected to work with section chief, faculty members and fellows in an academic medical center setting and interact with dialysis unit staff.
