American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with PV surgery and hybrid OR experience for a day shift position requiring a compact or LA RN license.

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital setting
• Peripheral vascular (PV) surgery focus including hybrid OR cases, with PV call responsibilities
• Opportunity to float to other specialties such as neuro, ortho, and robotics is a plus
• Day shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• No call-in shifts required

• Active RN license (Compact or LA) required in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Conscious sedation and circulate/telemetry skills preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PV surgery, including hybrid OR
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

• Unit does not accept first-time travelers
• May be required to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (based on driver's license address) to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates must disclose all requested time off during the interview process to avoid rescission of offer
• Previous permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have been separated from the health system for a full year before returning as a traveler
• Orientation is held five days a week
• Two professional references from a Manager or Supervisor (not Charge RN) will be required prior to starting the contract, though not required at time of submission
