Overview
New Tech Global is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector for an Oil and Gas Client in Morgan City, LA.
Hours:
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Candidate will need to be flexible to work overtime as needed.
- Conduct tests to determine quality of raw materials, bulk intermediate, and finished products.
- Inspect and verify incoming raw material and products to specifications.
- Maintain and update incoming inspection files, procedures, and related required documentation.
- Determine proper product configuration and performance using engineering instructions such as product prints.
- Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
- Complete dispositions, documents, and reports for purchasing and quality engineers on nonconforming materials.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence or nonconforming product.
REQUIRED
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Associates Degree and a minimum of two (2) years related quality experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
