Quality Control Inspector

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.00/hour

Schedule:

Primarily Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. May shift to Tuesday–Friday depending on production needs.
6+ Month Contract

In this role, you will ensure that all manufacturing, processing, packing, and storage of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), drug products, and medical devices meet current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). You will perform inspections and quality assessments to help guarantee product integrity and compliance with FDA, OSHA, and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct area and line clearances, in-process inspections, and incoming material inspections.

• Monitor manufacturing process performance (SPC/SQC), and ensure proper control of non-conforming materials or equipment.

• Label and apply material quality status on inspected materials.

• Verify final printed labels for accuracy.

• Support production planning and execute tasks per the schedule.

• Assist in developing and maintaining site quality procedures and standards.

• Participate in investigations of nonconformances/deviations and support corrective/preventive actions.

• Perform additional quality assurance tasks and special projects as assigned.

Key Competencies:

• Knowledge of cGMPs, FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Basic understanding of lab analyzers and inspection tools
