Lab Research Technician, Cell & Molecular Biology Cell & Molecular Biology
Location:
New Orleans, LA
The Laboratory Research Technician will provide general support to ongoing research in the Tasker laboratory, including animal husbandry and genotyping/phenotyping, ordering, purchasing, lab upkeep, oversight of undergraduate students, etc.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree and one to two years of directly related experience.
- College level coursework in cell, molecular, and/or neuro biology
- Experience with animal dissection and histological preparations
- Experience with mouse breeding and genotyping
- Experience with immunohistochemistry and Western blotting
- Experience with confocal microscopy
- Experience with PCR and qPCR
- Experience with molecular biology
- Experience with cell cultures
