Postdoctoral Fellow – Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology
Responsibilities:
The candidate will study the biochemical and molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of the p53‑MDM2 loop, mutant p53s, and the c‑Myc pathway in response to various signals and identify small molecules that can suppress tumor growth by re‑activating p53 activity or suppressing c‑Myc activity in human cancer cells and mouse tumor model systems, including genetically manipulated mouse models such as p53‑null, MDM2‑C305/MDM4‑3SA double knockin, CCDC3‑null, TA‑p63‑null, PHLDB3‑null, and p53‑R249S knockin mouse models.
