This position is available in the Influenza and Innate Immunity Laboratory to study influenza infection and host innate immune defense. The research focuses on characterizing novel host factors identified in previous work (Li et al., Immunity 2011; Wang et al., Nature Communications, 2017; Fu et al., JEM, 2017) and their impacts on influenza A virus infection. A background in lung biology and pathology, respiratory pathogens, genetically modified mice and animal models, proteomics, or innate immunity is a plus.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in microbiology, immunology, or related biomedical sciences.
