Postdoctoral Fellow – Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for developing mass spectrometry-based new technologies and approaches to detect and measure biomarkers associated with important human diseases. The fellow will employ these methods to analyze samples from animal models of human disease and human subjects to test and validate their performance.
Qualifications- Recent Ph.D. in protein mass spectrometry, proteomics or a related field, with demonstrated skills in analytical chemistry, MALDI, LC‑MS/MS
- Research experience in nano/micro‑scale liquid chromatography, electrospray ionization, high‑resolution mass spectrometry, protein biochemistry, and top‑down and bottom‑up proteomics, including project design, sample preparation and data analysis, PTM identification.
- Experience in analyzing Mycobacterium species is highly preferred.
