The Department of River-Coastal Science and Engineering at Tulane University, New Orleans, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position in Hydroclimatology.
The position will focus on hydroclimatic variability under climate change, investigating changes in precipitation seasonality, generation mechanisms, intensity, and intermittency in the Southeastern US, emphasizing land-atmosphere interactions and vegetation-climate links.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in hydroclimatology, hydrology, physical climatology, civil/environmental engineering, or related fields, with skills in statistical methods, stochastic modeling, and large dataset analysis preferred.
