Additional Position Information
A Staff Scientist position is immediately available to study the mechanisms of aging, synaptic structural plasticity, and neurodegeneration using Drosophila and mouse models. Working under the general guidance of the Principal Investigator, the successful candidate will carry out independent and collaborative research, design and perform experiments, prepare manuscripts, and present findings s position will also involve helping with laboratory operations and mentoring junior researchers.
Strong candidates should have excellent experimental skills in molecular biology and biochemistry, and enthusiasm for basic research. Experience in genetics and neuroscience is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided, and motivated individuals will find opportunities to develop toward an independent research career.

MD or DDS or DVM may also be acceptable
