LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans seeks an established senior researcher in retinal disease, preferably focusing on retinitis pigmentosa. The candidate will be appointed at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor on the tenure track and join the Ophthalmology Department.
The position requires an MD (or equivalent), PhD or both, and includes an endowed chair to promote scholarly productivity. A demonstrated federal funding record and a strong publication and editorial service background
