• Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary regulations.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Verify menu accuracy, check trays for resident preferences, and ensure proper food storage.
• Work in a non‑temperature regulated environment (ovens, stoves, walk‑in refrigerators/freezers).
• Maintain inventory and report any hazardous conditions, equipment malfunctions, or incidents.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler’s permit / Serv Safe certification as required by state.
