The Foundation Room Barback is responsible for the maintenance, stocking and cleanliness of the bar, and all other functions which increase the efficiency and productivity of the bartending team.

Required:

• State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement / Responsible Alcohol Training Certification or Equivalent
• Ability to work late hours
• Flexible schedule
• Skills in interpersonal communication and teamwork
• Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms

Preferred:

• 3 years’ work experience interacting with people in a positive environment
• Experience recognizing valid IDs
• Experience in a live music environment

• Fast-paced, often loud and stressful environment
• Extended periods of standing and working on your feet indoors or outdoors
• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
• Intensely physical environment

• Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions
• Follow event guidelines to ensure event success
• Stock ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers; lift/move up to 25 lbs
• Clean and assist in maintaining bar equipment
• Perform opening/running/closing side duties according to HOB policy
• Manage trash and recyclables per local codes
• Operate trash compactors per procedures
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and HOB policies
• Keep trash containers clean, odor-free and lined
• Maintain HOB safety and sanitation standards
• Par all ice bins and bars per venue specifications
• Record maintenance problems/issues in bar log or work orders
• Attend pre-shift meetings with Manager on Duty
