As the Lead Bartender h Market, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talent by leading the bar team, placing/receiving orders, and working with ownership to create a fun, approachable cocktail menu/scene..
We are looking for talented bartender that wants to continue or start their bar management career.

Main Responsibilities of the Lead Bartender:

• Maintaining the bar workspace = cleanliness, organization, maintenance
• Training bartending team
• Working with purveyors to improve costs, bring in new products, and ensure product is in stock
• Lead the bar team by setting an example and establishing standards
• Not be an ass to work with

Responsibilities:

• Taking orders and serving drinks and snacks to bar customers
• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Mixing classic and innovative cocktails
• Communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Nurturing customers to provide an exceptional guest experience
• Making menu recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences
• Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized
• Checking customers' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
• Remaining sober throughout the shift

Requirements:

• Experience as a bartender
• Knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages
• A bartending certificate is a plus
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Professional and positive disposition
• Ability to keep the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized
• Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts
• Lack of arrogance, narcissism, and manic behavior
