Position OverviewFull‑time Account Executive on the Sales Team, assisting clients across the New Orleans market and the US with multi‑media business options. Product suite includes:
- Radio, Audio Streaming and Podcast Advertising
- Website Design, Optimization, and Repair
- Digital Display Advertising
- Reputation Monitoring & Management (Online Review)
- DNA Digital (Data‑Driven Digital Advertising)
- Call Tracking
- You Tube & Online Video Advertising
- OTT (App‑Based & Online TV)
- Mobile Geofencing
- Search Engine Optimization
- Google Ad Words
- Social Media Advertising & Content Creation
- Political Advertising
- Event Marketing & Management
- Recruitment Advertising
The role manages relationships with local and regional businesses, protects and grows the revenue base, identifies new business opportunities, and provides marketing solutions aligned with client business goals. Minimum expectation: achieving budgeted revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities- Create and identify client business needs by understanding goals, objectives, processes, and external environment.
- Deliver effective, multi‑platform marketing solutions via integrated sales presentations.
- Negotiate and close business that drives revenue and fosters long‑term relationships.
- Maintain a proficient understanding of CUMULUS MEDIA assets and constantly grow product knowledge.
- Represent the full suite of products and services – digital, broadcast, events, and specialized programming.
- Manage time to optimize revenue opportunities, client interaction, and fulfillment of sales agreements.
- Prospect aggressively to maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects.
- Follow station and corporate procedures for orders, billing, reports, forecasts, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate and capitalize on opportunities to best represent the brand while helping clients achieve success.
- 2+ years in Media Sales (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, social networking platforms, and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for developing new business relationships in an outside sales role.
- Strong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects.
- Comprehension of sales metrics to maintain a constant pipeline of new business.
