Novaris Search is partnered with a large plant‑based ingredient manufacturer in the US, looking to hire an Analytical Chemist to join their state‑of‑the‑art center in Iowa.

• Development & validation of analytical methods for plant‑based compounds
• Provide technical support to sales team & customers
• Help to develop product data, product literature & support new product applications
• Work with marketing to create and exhibit presentations at trade shows
• Perform lab activities in accordance with cGLP/ cGMP regulations
• Qualify/transfer analytical methodology to quality control and contract labs
• Support finished product formulations and process development

• Holds a degree in Chemistry or related discipline
• 5‑8 years experience, particularly in plant‑based chemistry/botanicals
• Understanding of analytical methods & preparation techniques e.g. HPLC, GC, MS, spectroscopy, filtration & extraction etc
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross‑functional, multi‑discipline team environments
