As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Standards in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
Monitor access to assigned locations, observe activity, and document incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions through clear and timely reports.
Maintain proficiency with and responsibly carry assigned authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, client requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
