POST-certified LEO or Former Military Police Public Safety Bike & Foot Patrols

We are seeking dedicated POST Certified Retired or Former Law Enforcement Officers or former trained Military Police Officers to join our team for Public Safety Bike/Foot Patrols. This vital role involves maintaining safety, security, and a visible presence across designated areas through active patrols on foot or bicycle. Ideal candidates must be physically fit are motivated, vigilant, and committed to ensuring a secure environment for visitors, staff, and the community.

Your law enforcement background will be instrumental in proactively preventing incidents, managing conflicts, and responding swiftly to emergencies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience in a dynamic setting while contributing to public safety.

All applicants Must have received P.O.S.T Peace Officer Standard Training from a law enforcement training academy and be in great physical condition. Since this position works outside in the elements.

• Our company provides for general liability and workers comp insurance coverages, and a pre-employment drug test at no cost.
• Uniforms are provided and deducted for thru payroll deduction, once you've been employed for a full year the uniform cost is refunded to you.
• Additional personal insurance coverages if desired are provided through New York Life selected and paid for by the employee.

Applicants must own all of your own equipment, weapon, level 3 duty holster, gun belt, handcuffs with case and keys, a tactical flashlight, and two spare magazines. This position works rotating shifts based on manpower availability either 6a to 2p and 2p to 10p.

• Conduct regular walking and bike patrols across assigned areas to deter unlawful activity and ensure safety
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to identify suspicious behavior or security breaches
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations
• Perform security checks, including loss prevention measures and property inspections
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, assisting individuals in distress until emergency services arrive
• Enforce rules and regulations by engaging with visitors and staff professionally and assertively
• Document all patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately in reports for record-keeping purposes

• Proven law enforcement/military experience with POST certification or equivalent law enforcement credentials
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operations
• Ability to perform first aid and CPR effectively in emergency situations
• Excellent conflict management skills with a calm, authoritative demeanor
• Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and CCTV monitoring systems
• Experience in military police or security roles is a plus, demonstrating discipline and situational awareness
• Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse populations and emergency responders
