Security Officer
Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is seeking a Guard to join our team! We are a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home, provided by a network of board-certified physicians.
TheGuard is responsible for the safety and security of patients, visitors and staff at Lallie Kemp Medical Center (LKMC).
No experience or training is required.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants may be required to possess a current Louisiana driver's license.

Job Duties:- Patrols the building and grounds to detect and prevent security issues.
- Investigates incidents of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity and report findings to law enforcement.
- Provides emergency assistance and response to staff, patients, and visitors.
- Assist nursing units, clinical care areas and other departments with uncooperative, combative or violent patients.
- Responsible for securing buildings and facility. Lock and unlock doors according to locking schedule(s).
- Attend Education In-Services, mandatory training and annual review as required by hospital policy and procedure or deemed necessary by supervisor.
- Ensure all WILMA lessons are completed by the due date. Performs other duties as assigned
Appointment Type:
Probational or Promotional. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Work Location:
The Guard position is located in the Security Department.
Shift: The work schedule will be determined by the Department Manager.
Compensation:
Salary depends on qualifications.
