Northwestern State University of Louisiana is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Security Guard.
No experience or training is required.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants may be required to possess a current Louisiana driver's license.

Job Duties:- Key Functions:
Maintains a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and University property at the NSU Leesville Campus. - Conducts routine patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, and grounds to identify and address potential safety and security concerns.
- Monitors campus security systems, controls building access, responds to alarms and incidents, and maintains accurate security records and reports.
- Manages campus key inventory, visitor access procedures, parking permits, and parking violations in accordance with University policies.
- Coordinates with University Police, local law enforcement, and campus administration to support emergency response, safety inspections, and overall campus security operations.
