The Commercial Installer Technician provides customer equipment installation of HVACR and/or commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., grills, ovens, fryers, coolers, freezers).

• Installs commercial HVACR and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Communicates effectively and professionally with customers regarding repairs and status updates.
• Communicates part orders with the branch.
• Documents tasks (parts/work orders, timesheets) accurately and on a timely basis.
• Maintains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Heritage standards and adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

• One to three years of installation experience in commercial kitchen equipment and/or HVACR equipment (e.g., RTUs, chillers).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screening is required.
• Valid Driver's License and driving record that aligns with safety standards.

• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues is a plus
• Contractor, journeyman, and/or HVAC certification not required, but would be a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lifting equipment
• Extensive daily travel to work site locations
• Occasional to frequent exertion in high and low temperature environments (hot kitchens, rooftops, outdoors, etc.)
• Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders
• Exposure to electrical, steam, and high heat units requiring safety equipment
