entry level inspectional and cost estimation work relating to housing rehabilitation; and related work as required.

1. High school graduation or ged:*

2. Two (2) years of full-time journeyman level experience
** in residential building renovations or new construction, or construction inspection work in one or more of the residential building trades (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, hvac, etc.) or in planning and estimating.

or: two (2) years (60 semester hours) of university or trade school training in architecture, residential structural engineering, mechanical engineering, construction project management, or a construction technology curriculum, and a minimum of four (4) years of practical experience.

or: any combination of trade school, and or university studies in a construction specific curriculum, or hands on experience combined totaling 6 (six) years.
