Traffic Signal Technician - IMSA

Jack Harper Electrical (JHE) is the Gulf Coast Region's leading highway electrical contractor specializing in traffic signals, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), roadway lighting, and decorative lighting. We are looking for a motivated and experienced

to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair traffic signal systems and related transportation infrastructure. This position offers opportunities for leadership, technical growth, and career advancement.

• Install, maintain, and repair traffic signal systems and associated infrastructure
• Program and test traffic signal controllers and cabinet equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, communication, and detection systems
• Establish and maintain safe work zones
• Lead crews and coordinate project activities
• Train and mentor team members
• Complete reports and project documentation
• Participate in emergency response and on-call rotations

• High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable experience
• Valid CDL and DOT medical card
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED, and Flagger certifications
• Ability to pass background screening
• Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills

• Traffic signal construction and maintenance experience
• Experience operating construction equipment and aerial devices
• Ability to read plans, schematics, and specifications
• IMSA preferred, will be required after hire
