Assistant Golf Professional

Overview

The New Orleans Country Club is a Member owned club located just outside of downtown New Orleans. Founded in 1914 the club is always ranked as a top 50 best full service club in the United States. Members and invited guests play 25,000 rounds annually.

Golf operation experience is required. This is a position for a golf professional who is ready to advance their career. Over the last 22 years, 23 assistants have advanced to a Head Professional, Director of Instruction, Head College Coaching jobs or the like. Your career advancement is our number one goal. Bachelors degree prefered.

Assistant Golf Professionals will participate in many aspects of the golf operation including mentoring/managing assistants and outside services. We recently renovated the Golf Course, Practice Range, Pitching Range, Chipping Green, Short Game Area and Simulator, therefore this candidate will need to have a moderate level of teaching and coaching experience. This position will work closely with the Head Professional and other golf staff personnel to provide all members and their guests an outstanding experience.

• 45-49 hour 5 day work week
