School Bus Driver

About the Position

Join Beacon Mobility as a School Bus Driver. This part‑time, flexible weekday role is based in Baton Rouge (East and West) with summers off.

We offer paid CDL training—no experience necessary—and a starting pay of $22.00 per hour. You will receive comprehensive training and support to safely transport students to and from school.

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities on schedule.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and child checks after each route.
• Plan efficient routes using navigation tools and maintain accurate mileage and maintenance records.
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well‑maintained vehicle.
• Interact professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

• Paid CDL training ($10.25 training stipend).
• Medical, dental, vision, and other standard benefits including accident, critical illness, and optional life coverage.

• Flexible schedule with no nights, holidays, or weekends; summers off.

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.
