Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week; overtime as needed

About the RoleLighthouse Louisiana is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to support daily warehouse operations. This role works closely with the Shipping & Receiving (S&R) Manager and warehouse team to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective shipping, receiving, inventory control, and documentation while maintaining compliance with Lighthouse’s Quality and ISO systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesShipping Operations
- Coordinate daily outbound and inbound shipments in alignment with the Order Status Report
- Assist the S&R Manager with planning shipments to meet customer requirements and minimize labor and transportation costs
- Prepare and review shipping documentation and routing requirements
- Request and evaluate transportation quotes using phone and online software
- Operate forklift and warehouse equipment to load shipments safely and efficiently
- Perform daily shipping inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Coordinate with Customer Service to provide accurate order updates
- Support finished goods inventory management and stock rotation
- Perform shipping/receiving duties during team member absences as needed
Receiving Operations
- Unload incoming shipments using forklift and hand equipment
- Ensure accurate receiving and entry of materials into Net Suite
- Verify items against packing slips and purchase orders; inspect for damage
- Maintain organized, secure, and properly rotated inventory
- Submit daily receiving paperwork and logs to Accounts Payable
- Maintain organized records for all warehouse activities
General Responsibilities
- Assist warehouse, production, receiving, and procurement teams as needed
- Participate in regular inventory counts
- Identify and correct stock discrepancies in coordination with management
- Follow Lighthouse Quality System and ISO procedures consistently
- Support continuous improvement of warehouse and inventory systems
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, inventory management, or logistics
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong understanding of freight coordination, shipping documentation, and inventory control processes
- Forklift experience with ability to obtain and maintain certification
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Basic math and clerical skills for inventory and order processing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing
- Regular forklift operation
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Dependable, cooperative, organized, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Combination of office, warehouse, and outdoor environments
- Background check and drug screening required
