What you will do:

The Senior Contracts Manager oversees the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of contracts and subcontracts. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams, proactively shaping contract strategy, guiding regulatory compliance, and coordinating with outside counsel where needed. This role is responsible for managing the review and approval of contractual documents for protection of the company’s intellectual property and assets, satisfaction of government specifications and requirements and adherence to company policy.

You will play a key role in helping the company navigate complex aerospace, export, and remote‑sensing regulatory environments while enabling the business to move quickly and responsibly. In this role, you will participate in negotiating, structuring, and administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and partners.

Collaboration and networking with key functions and employees is necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Own full cycle regulatory and contract administration with various Government agencies, domestic and international resellers, engineering partners and product/consulting vendors
  • Advise teams on regulatory considerations relevant to EO imagery, satellite operations, and aerospace (e.g. NOAA CRSRA licensing, ITAR/EAR, FCC)
  • Provide strategic guidance on contract structure, risk allocation, and deal terms
  • Support negotiations on difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with internal and external clients
  • Analyze and advise program management on legal and business issues and risks and implement solutions to resolve contract challenges
  • Collaborate with functions to ensure proper support in proposal preparation, as well as contract negotiations and administration
  • Ensure that EOI Space’s Intellectual Property is protected through effective and appropriate non‑disclosure agreements (NDAs) MSA’s and SOW’s that define ownership, permissible use, confidentiality, and remedies for infringement of IP protections
  • Design, document and implement legal review process and automation to ensure timely completion of legal agreements, proper documentation and filing, workflow visibility and integration to other EOI business systems
  • Manage and draft contracts and related documents to assess risk to the company and recommend mitigation approaches and ensure compliance with various federal regulations and company policies
  • Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration activities from the proposal through closeout
  • Negotiate third‑party agreements and coordinate with management to achieve favorable terms and conditions in accordance with company policy
  • Monitor contractual performance across the enterprise to mitigate performance, cost, and schedule risks
  • Maintain and update Legal Policies, Procedures and Guidelines as necessary
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally and establish effective relationships with key customers
  • Ensure non‑disclosure agreements and contract terms and conditions are negotiated within company guidelines
  • Interpret, apply, and follow government contract acquisition rules, company policies and customer specifications
