Reporting to a Sr. Packaging Engineer, this position is part of the Research and Innovation team and is responsible for providing technical support on projects within a business unit related to dairy and non‑dairy packaging, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and productivity. This Co‑Op will take place Fall 2026 – June 15th – Dec 11th, located in White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO.
Responsibilities- Leading innovation/productivity/sustainability initiatives of existing packaging platforms by identifying, testing, and qualifying different materials or processes;
- Conducting extensive testing to evaluate product and package performance in a real‑world environment;
- Designing a new package format for different channels of trade (e.g. Club stores, Value, & Grocery);
- Assisting in preparation of documentation and specifications for packaging materials;
- Working cross‑functional teams.
The salary range for this position is $20 – $28/hour USD.
About You- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field;
- One or more courses completed in Materials Science, Distribution Packaging, and Food Packaging;
- Strong communication and analytical skills;
- Strong problem‑solving skills & a continuous improvement mindset;
- Collaborative and able to work in a team environment.
