Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Colorado team. This role offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge defense technologies supporting our Nation’s war fighters. • Develop, test, and validate mechanical designs.
• Create and/or modify primary and secondary structures using 3‑D models, assemblies, and installations.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Conduct materials testing and characterization.
• Define requirements, perform conceptual, preliminary, layout, and detail design, release drawings, prepare design review presentations, and support fabrication.
• Analyze design risks, anticipate and mitigate them, and report concerns to supervisors.
• Work efficiently in environments that require little direct oversight.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• BS with two (2) years of experience or an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with metallic and composite design.
• Experience in mechanical design, specifically aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience with 3‑D CAD tools (CATIA, Solid Works, Pro/ENGINEER, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent).
• Experience with FEA software, including pre‑processing and post‑processing, is desired.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with experience delivering technical presentations.

• U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance. Active clearance is preferred.
