Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Colorado team. This role offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge defense technologies supporting our Nation’s war fighters. Candidates should be self‑starters capable of working independently, with minimal supervision, and eager to contribute to a world‑class team of engineers, technicians, and professionals who design state‑of‑the‑art systems.

Responsibilities- Develop, test, and validate mechanical designs.
- Create and/or modify primary and secondary structures using 3‑D models, assemblies, and installations.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Conduct materials testing and characterization.
- Define requirements, perform conceptual, preliminary, layout, and detail design, release drawings, prepare design review presentations, and support fabrication.
- Analyze design risks, anticipate and mitigate them, and report concerns to supervisors.
- Work efficiently in environments that require little direct oversight.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- BS with two (2) years of experience or an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with metallic and composite design.
- Experience in mechanical design, specifically aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience with 3‑D CAD tools (CATIA, Solid Works, Pro/ENGINEER, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent).
- Experience with FEA software, including pre‑processing and post‑processing, is desired.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with experience delivering technical presentations.
- U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance. Active clearance is preferred.
