As a Project Coordinator & Scheduler you will support the Orion Space Solutions Program Management Office (PMO) as primary scheduler to coordinate between multiple projects, leading the creation and managing the frequent updates for multiple schedules to ensure traceability of milestones, including development of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Critical Path Schedule, dependencies, and other project documentation, as needed.
You will maintain, add, and track team actions using project management methodology and standard collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Project, Jira, Kan Ban, etc.). You will participate in multiple Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups to extract and communicate necessary scheduling data points
- HS 8-10 years' experience
- Experience with coordination, scheduling and identification of all long-term, mid-term, and near-term project/program milestones and related activities
- Experience identifying, scheduling, and coordination issues
- Experience coordinating with program management staff in multiple and wide-ranging technical programs to ensure that schedules and expectations are completed in a timely manner
- High proficiency with MS Project
- Experience with using MS SharePoint, MS Excel, Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) tools
- Ability to coordinate between multiple projects and consolidating multiple project schedules, define goals, objectives, deliverables, and associated timelines
- Experience and skill with facilitating working groups and comprised of technical subject matter experts and program managers
- Experience with drafting status reports, defining and gathering requirements
This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
