The firm has a highly active investment platform with plans to acquire a minimum of an additional $1 billion of new assets over the next few years. RCS properties are located nationally.
- Creating pro‑formas using Argus and Excel
- Drafting offers
- Reviewing leases, purchase contracts, and other legal documents
- Collecting and analyzing due diligence information
- Conducting market analysis and forecasting
- Preparing loan and equity request packages
- Compiling investment committee packages for senior executives
- Performing business analysis
- Creating contract exhibits
- Working closely with acquisitions, asset management, legal, and other teams on duties related to acquiring commercial assets
- Demonstrated understanding of financial topics and experience underwriting commercial real‑estate assets
- Proven Excel skills and competency with complex formulas
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills with sound judgment
- Knowledge of Argus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- Limited travel required to visit potential acquisition deals
- Driven and ambitious

- Creative and highly analytic problem solvers with quick learning ability for new markets and complex projects
- Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related work experience
- Excellent MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, communication, and writing skills
- Strong Argus valuation software skills
- Interest and/or experience in commercial real‑estate investments
- 1–3+ years of commercial real‑estate underwriting and investment experience
- Strong research skills
- Ability to comply with company rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with internal and external parties through verbal and written channels
- Ability to analyze and communicate finance and accounting information
- Willingness to work long hours and independently, accurately discerning when to refer matters to supervisor
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel as required
