Job Description- Completes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
- Evaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high-risk health behaviors.
- Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services.
- May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies.
- Provides counseling and education using evidence-based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity.
Bachelor's (Required)
Certification – Certified Dietitian (CD) from an accredited issuing body, Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) – EV accredited issuing body, Licensed Dietitian (LD) – EV accredited issuing body, or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – EV accredited issuing body.
Pay Range: $26.89 – $50.01
