Part‑time position.

Schedule:

Thursday 5 pm–8 pm, Friday 5 pm–8 pm, Saturday 9 am–5 pm.

Pay:
Starting at $18.00 per hour; higher rates available for experienced applicants.

Assists in the creation, planning and implementation of the Connections program—daily activities for residents. Ensures maximum levels of resident leisure contentment and physical, mental, and psychological well‑being.

• Assist in the planning, development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the Connections activity program for the community.
• Assist in the planning and posting of a monthly calendar of events, monthly newsletter, and coordination of special events and programs.
• Assist in arranging and, at times, rendering transportation for the residents.
• Work closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.

• High school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in social work, therapeutic recreation, psychology, gerontology, or other related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in healthcare or service‑related setting (preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver’s license (required).
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
